I bought a Singer Futura sewing/embroidery machine nearly 3 years ago just to see if I could do it. I have had nothing but problems with it. I did learn that on the rare occasion it is working... I do love machine embroidery! Does anyone have recommendations for a good machine? I'd like one that I can use the design library I already have, one that does embroidery only and that will last for a long time! I would be doing a few projects a month maybe a little more near the Holidays.

Hello there... No one person can tell you which machine is perfect for you. What I like, may not be right for you, what another person likes may not be for you. May I suggest how I found the right machine for me? I attended an ISS show and was able to look, ask questions, touch, get pamphlets and pricing for a variety of machines. I feel this is the place to see them all at once, in one place. I personally attended the ISS show in Ft Worth Texas. The ISS Shows are in several cities throughout the USA. The next one is in Las Vegas, then onto Atlanta and then Ft Worth Texas. Below is the url for the ISS Shows and can give you a little more information concerning the show, what it gives you and how you can attend the floor show for free.

I don't know where in the US you are located; this may be more costly than it's worth. Please keep this in mind, whatever you do decide to purchase, make sure you have servicing within a reasonable area. You don't want to purchase a machine that the servicing will require a technician to drive across the state just to service your machine.

I wish you the best of luck!!
