Phyllis K. Day

Phyllis K. Day is a writer, voice-over professional and embroidery enthusiast. A broadcast journalism graduate of the University of North Carolina, her first purchase after graduation (and getting her own place) was a sewing machine (because Mom’s old Singer stayed with Mom). There were no embroidery machines back then, so a lot of embroidery was by hand, but easily carried with her as her career took her from local radio stations to national networks. About 6 years ago, Phyllis saw her first embroidery machine, and hasn’t looked back.
