    Step 1 - Preparation:
Precut the following pieces of vinyl, using a ruler to measure, a straight edge and pen to mark, and either a scissors or a cutter.
    ** 3 pieces measuring 2 3/8" by 3 1/4 (holds 2" by 3" photos)
    ** 1 piece measuring 5 3/8" by 3 1/4" (holds a 5" by 3" photo)

Step 2: The first step in the embroidery process is the word, "Grandma". The machine will stop for a color change when the word is finished.

Step 3: The next step is the outline stitch for the first photo pocket. Notice that there is no outline stitch going across the top of the pocket. No unsightly stitches will show at that point. When the machine stops for the next color change, center one of the 2 x 3 pieces of plastic over the outline. Important note: Do not use any adhesive!

Step 4: You will have to hold the plastic in place for a brief time until the machine stitches hold it for you as the tack-down stitches are placed. The color selected for the border of the first pocket will be the outline of the second pocket. Continue these steps until the three small pockets are finished.

Step 5: Following the border of the third pocket, the second portion of the text will be embroidered, which will also outline the final pocket.

Step 6: Place the last pocket in the same manner as the other three. When that is completed, the sweatshirt is finished and ready for photos!
