RE: I NEED HELP with Futura 150 jamming

If the embroidery unit does not calibrate properly when you first turn the machine on your embroidery unit might need to be re-calibrated. Be sure that you do not have a hoop attached when you first turn your machine on. Your embroidery unit should move both left and right and then into position to be ready to embroider. If it is not doing this, you might want to contact someone who repairs Singer machines.

I NEED HELP with Futura 150 jamming

I have a singer Futura 150 embroidery machine I inherited. I've installed the software on an older laptop running on 32-bit OS and XP. When I start the machine (after carefully following the steps) the embroidery unit moves to the right and hits the stop but tries to keep moving right! I can't find the problem. Any suggestions?
